It's a result of positive slippage, a unique market occurrence. When the rate for a token swap changes 🔄 in your favor between submitting the transaction and its confirmation, you receive an excess (surplus) amount of tokens.

Previously, swap surplus collection required additional data and computations for all swaps, leading to extra gas costs ⛽️ for all users.
